Whackhead pranks julius malema biography

SO AMERICAN President Barack Obama phones ANC youth league leader Julius Malema .

The joke was on Malema yesterday morning when 94.7 Highveld Stereo's Darren "Whackhead" Simpson pranked the youth leader.

Pretending to be the newly sworn-in president's assistant, Todd, Whackhead phoned Malema's personal assistant to arrange a conference call between the youth leader and Obama.

During the "conference call" conversation, which was broadcast on the station's breakfast show, Whackhead used sound clips spliced from actual speeches made by Obama to engage Malema in conversation.

The South African politician, voted Mampara of the Year by the Sunday Times, appeared not to realise with whom he was speaking, and a stilted conversation followed:

Whackhead: Hello, is this Mr Malema?

(in an American accent)

Malema: Hello.

W: Is this Mr Malema?

M: Who is speaking?

W: Hello, this is Todd. I'm calling you from the Democratic Party in the Unite
